Check out this precious little face! Little Miss L’s mommy contacted me awhile back about a session for her adorable little one and I was so excited when I was finally able to meet her entire family. I was not at all prepared for the cuteness! Oh my! Miss L is such a sweetheart and even though mom told me that little L somehow woke up at 4:30 this morning, we still managed to have an awesome photo shoot with some crazy-cute images! I hope she slept good for you guys on the way home. Thank you so much for your kindness! I am excited to follow your sweet little one as she continues to grow!! Here is a little preview of the cuteness!

Much love~

Jaime Hinton: LOVE IT! So cute!

One. 3 letters that hold so much meaning to our family. We feel abundantly blessed everyday that we spend with our little angel. She has given us an immense love that we never could have imagined. Finley came into our family and made us a wonderful family of 4. We learn so much from her everyday. She is a snuggler. A fighter. She loves laying her head on your shoulder and holds her little head in the nape of your neck. She loves Oatmeal and Banana cereal. She says “yummmm” everytime you slide food into her mouth. She belly laughs at herself everytime she sneezes. The world’s lightest sleeper. Flips herself over during diaper changes and laughs hysterically, because she knows she’s being a stinker. LOVES her big sister to pieces. To pieces! Thinks Piper is the beginning and end of coolness. Will not drink her formula at any temperature that doesn’t resemble hot. Has the craziest hair I’ve ever seen. Falls asleep on mommy’s chest for mid-day naps in our bed. Can point to your nose and ears when you ask her to. Is a perpetual laugher. A happy baby. Happy in every sense of the word. LOVES her daddy. Giggles when Ripley licks her finger or when Marmalade, our kitty, rubs against her with her soft fur. All of these things that I list are a blessing. To think we came so close to not knowing her or who she would become just makes me adore her that much more. This little girl that the Lord gave to us, that He entrusted us with. It’s all miraculous and all glory is given to Him. We know that even though the doctor’s are still scratching their heads over you, that God knows you through and through. We never scratch our heads. We just trust that you are here for reasons beyond all earthly explanation. Thank you God for allowing us to raise, love and wrap ourselves in everything that Finley is. Thank you Finley for teaching us that it is possible to love this deeply. You are loved to the moon and back times a number that I can’t even imagine exists. You are loved. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love~ Mommy, Daddy & Piper :) xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hello friends! Yesterday, I had the chance to photograph the lovely ladies of Ciao Bella Day Spa in Littleton. Geri, the owner, is hands down one of the sweetest and most genuine business owner’s I’ve had the opportunity to meet. From the moment you meet her, you just feel you’ve known her your whole life. Her spa is truly one of a kind. Geri and her husband have put an immense amount of hard work and dedication into Ciao Bella and it is apparent from the moment you set foot in the store. It is a peaceful getaway located right downtown on Main Street in Littleton. If you are in need of some serenity in your life, Ciao Bella is definitely the place to be. They offer a variety of services including massage (prenatal too!), pedicures/manicures, facials and more! You will feel right at home with Geri and her wonderful staff. Be sure to check them out and treat yourself to something special today! If your there, you’ll notice I have several pieces of my work hanging on their walls. Geri is so kind!

Here are a few images that I captured during our shoot together. Doesn’t it just MAKE you want to make time for yourself?

Both of my kiddo’s have big Dr. appointment’s coming up. Wednesday is Piper’s big MRSA throat culture. FINGERS. TOES. EYES. ARMS. LEGS. crossed for negative test results! This lung damage needs to slow the heck down! So, throw those prayers up to the sky and ask God to make it happen (if it’s his will, of course). Have you seen that commercial where the guy with the heart problem has the hospital bed following him around everywhere? LOL I kinda feel that way with Piper’s MRSA. I feel like ole’ MRSA has been following me everywhere I go. I’d like to kick ole’ MRSA in the chins. I mean seriously, he needs to beat it and give Piper a break. Me a break. Our entire family a little MRSA vacation. We realize that this is a VERY tall order. MRSA is difficult to eradicate, but it’s not impossible! Right? With God EVERYTHING is possible. It is.

Next Wednesday, Finley has Cardiac Clinic. We will be doing an Echo, EKG and some blood work to determine what this heart medication (Amiodarone) has been doing to her liver, kidneys and everything attached. That is some pretty heavy duty stuff and the long term effects are not great, so we need to be sure that she isn’t having any adverse signs from it. She’s been on it for 10 months. They are hoping to take her off of it at a year. I’m a little paranoid about that, but definitely glad she won’t have liver, kidney, etc. complications from it. It’s a double-edged sword for sure. It’s been keeping her heart-rate under control for 10 months. Under control. If they take her off of it, her little heart is free to flutter about and do something stupid again. I’m kinda not a fan of that. I am, however, a HUGE fan of God’s perfect plan. While I know the heart medication has been keeping her heart under control, I am MORE aware that God’s healing hands have been keeping it MORE under control. We will see where Fin’s heart function is right now. It’s still a big waiting game, waiting for her to reach 50 lbs. so that we can move forward with her ablation. That sure seems like a long way to go, seeing as she’s only about 21 lbs. right now. We’ll get there though! I know I’ll blink and she’ll be 5.

So, the next 2 weeks will be filled with some pretty heavy hitting news for both of our girls. I’m ready. I’m ready to gain some new perspective on both medical conditions and do what needs to be done to make things the best they can be for each! I love that they are both such strong little ladies. It makes it all okay. We are all in this together and I am SO grateful for your continued love, thoughts and prayers!!!!

Just a few pics of my little bugs :)

This weekend I had the honor of flying to Miami to photograph the wedding of Maria and Raphael. It was a gorgeous event, filled with fabulous details and a venue that is to die for. The Ritz Carlton South Beach is an incredible setting for a wedding and I was so excited when I stepped into the lobby. I will be posting another round of images from this wedding, but thought I would start with these! Enjoy!

Much love~
