Here are some images from my shoot with the fabulous, Annelis and Anthony. Annelis is a sorority sister and dear friend of mine and I was so excited to be able to meet up with her while I was in Florida. I contacted Annelis a few months back and asked if she’d be interested in providing hair and make-up for the bridal models at my workshop and THANKFULLY she was available. I can’t even begin to express the amazing job that she did. I am truly blessed to have such talented friends!

I also took some pictures of another sorority sister and dear friend, Dana and her husband Paul. Dana and Paul are the proud owners of the VW bus used in the shoot. Thank you SO much to you both for allowing us to borrow your sweet ride for the shoot. It was WONDERFUL seeing you!

Just wanted to post a quick teaser for this super-fun couple I had the opportunity to photograph down in Miami last week! Maria is the sweetest girl in the universe. Seriously! I love watching Raphael and her laugh together. You guys are too, too cute for words! Thank you for an amazing time in an even more amazing location. I am looking forward to your wedding in April!!

Here is just 1 quick image from an engagement shoot I recently did up in Gainesville, FL. I will definitely be posting more from this shoot, but for now…a teaser!

So, a few weeks back I posted that I was making a trip to NYC. I flew up for 1 day and then back the next to rush home to my little family,  but had an incredible time experiencing the fast-paced city life. I was a flight attendant many years ago and would often overnight in NYC, but I never really had much of a chance to branch out and see the sites, like I did on this trip. I think we trekked some 50+ blocks and boy did I feel like it at the end of the night I almost missed my flight staying up late chatting and catching up, but Becky, one of my bestest college friends broke every posted speed limit and somehow got me from Connecticut to New York City in about 40 minutes. HAHA…what a mess! Here are a few favorites from my trip to the city! Beth and Chad thank you guys so much for an amazing experience. I can’t wait until your wedding in just a few short weeks

Hello friends! I know it has been a VERY long time since I have blogged and I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart. You all mean the world to me and I appreciate you being so patient while I gather sessions to post. Time has seemed to slip right by me with everything that has happened over the last few months. Without going into lengthy detail, I know many of you that read my blog are well aware of what has been going on with my family and for those of you that aren’t, I will briefly say that the past few months have been a whirlwind of emotion for our family while we deal with the diagnosis and almost near-loss of our newborn daughter. I felt like someone came and kicked my legs out from underneath me and while I have been very busy with photography related work (editing AND shooting), I have found that my blogging has taken a back burner and so I apologize for that. SO many of my amazing clients have sent us cards and emails and long heart-felt phone calls with well wishes for both of our daughter’s, each of whom are fighting their own medical battles and you have touched our hearts so deeply that mere words could never express our gratitude. How can you say thank you to a client that calls you and sits on the other end of the line while praying both for and with you? I just don’t know how I became so blessed to have such incredible clients, but I am incredibly, INCREDIBLY grateful. The outpouring of love and support is still reverberating in our home. Life is so full of curve balls sometimes, but it makes things much less abrasive when you have good people on your side!

Life has not slowed me down, though. My work has kept me extremely busy and I am so thankful to have been shooting throughout all of the chaos. It was my outlet and in many, many ways a saving grace when I needed to clear my head. I have several sessions that I will be posting, but I just wanted to give everyone a quick update. If you are not my friend already on Facebook, please add me. You can read Finley’s story there and rather than bog down my blog with the details, I felt it was better posted there.

I am headed to New York City this weekend to shoot an engagement session and I’m very excited to be shooting in the city! There will be much more to post! God bless you all!!

I am a little behind on blogging, but I wanted to be sure and post my engagement session with the fabulous Susan and Steve. I’m just thrilled to be shooting their wedding this fall. You guys are such a fun-hearted couple. Steve, you are completely and totally hysterical and had me laughing the entire session. Susan, I secretly love it when you call me and I get to hear your sweet little southern accent. I feel like I’m talking to Scarlett Ohara. haha Thank you both for such a memorable experience. I had a wonderful weekend in Jekyll Island, Georgia with this beautiful couple.  Erin and Shawn are getting married in just 2 short weeks and after trying to schedule our engagement session with bouts of bad weather, we were able to find a gorgeous weekend filled with delicious light and fantastic weather! I am so excited to share this post, because I just adore this location. I could have shot there throughout the night…and we used every last bit of light we could drain from the sky to create a memorable engagement shoot for such a special couple. I am so excited to be capturing their wedding! Erin is a true example of a client that comes prepared! Her wardrobe was amazing and I can’t express ENOUGH to my clients that what you wear really is the best way to make sure your pictures are as fabulous as you dream them to be. There is something to be said for great clothing and girl, you brought it! I love it when a shoot starts off comfortably and from moment one, they just turned on the charm, resulting in some of my favorite images to date! It is such a pleasure to work with clients that allow you the freedom to create, so thank you both so very much! We will be seeing you very soon. This is a big daddy post, because I just fell in love with too many of them to choose! Happy Sunday, all!

Hi everyone!  I have been SO busy editing all of these sessions and happily I am able to blog more of this one now that it is complete.  The next 2 weeks for me are JAMMED full of shoots spanning from Bradenton all the way to Georgia (twice!).  It has been an adventure! You may remember a few weeks back I posted a teaser of this shoot and promised to post more. Well, here they are! If you are wanting to schedule a shoot with me before I start my maternity leave (May 3rd- July 15), please do so SOON! I can’t believe I am getting so close to delivering! Only 8 weeks to go I am quickly booking up. My week days are still available, however my weekends are tight. To my Tampa clients…I will be down there next weekend (April 24, 25, and 26) so, get in there if you are looking to!!! Enough of that!
